When travelling away overnight with a baby there are many things you have to take with you. I have been caught out previously with not having enough foods my daughter could eat while away.
This morning I have cooked up some foods to go in our Sinchies pouches to take with us for her dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow.
Now this is not expert advice so if you have any concerns always check with your doctor before giving anything to your child.
I batch cooked up some vegetables, but to make each meal slightly different when blending I made a few changes.
Vegetables used:
- cauliflower- boiled
- zucchini -boiled
- sweet potato -boiled
- kale – cooked in a fry pan with butter and garlic till wilted
Once the vegetables were ready I did 2 batches of blending. Using a little of the water I cooked the vegetables in to add a bit more liquid to the batches.
Batch 1
- sweet potato
- zucchini
- cauliflower
- kale mix
Batch 2
- sweet potato
- zucchini
- cauliflower
- ricotta cheese
Once I had both my batches ready, I put them in my Sinchies resuable pouches ready to take away with me. I put normal lids on them until I need to use them, where I will then replace the normal lids with the Sip’n Lids to make it easier for her to feed herself.
If you wish the purchase Sinchies Products click on the link here. I purchased my Sinchies products from the pregnancy and baby expo a couple months back after seeing them first at the same expo while I was pregnant. I am so happy with my purchases. They have made taking my own food out and about so much easier. I use the pouches EVERY day- For breakfasts, smoothies, yogurt, and foods like today’s blog. I have since built a relationship and become an affiliate of Sinchies, which I am so stoked about as I love their products so much and couldn’t be happier to have the support of such a good company.
