As it is Easter time and Miss A loves balloons I thought I would make her some fun Easter balloons – a Chicken and a Bunny.
Materials:
- Balloons
- Coloured paper for the chicken and white paper for the bunny.
- Sticky tape
- Scissors
- Permanent textas
Chicken Method:
- Blow up a balloon and sticky tape the end to the balloon so it doesn’t dangle down.
- Cut out coloured paper to make the nose, crest and feet. You can get creative with this and make then as big or small as you like.
- Sticky tape them into place onto the balloon- you need to fold an edge so you can tape it on.
- Draw on some eyes with permanent texta and you are done.
Bunny Method:
- Blow up a balloon and sticky tape the end to the balloon so it doesn’t dangle down.
- Cut out 2 long bunny ears from plain white paper- you could also colour in the inside of the bunny ears with pink texta if you wanted to. Draw the inner ear onto the bunny ears- do this before you stick them on as I forgot to and made it a lot harder once I had stuck it on.
- Sticky tape the ears onto the top of the balloon-you need to fold an edge so you can tape it on.
- Draw on the bunnies face with permanent texta – eyes, nose, whiskers, mouth and teeth.
Miss A loved her fun animal balloons. We look forward to exploring what other animals we can make next.
